About the Event

In this cross-curricular professional development workshop designed to improve student writing, we’ll explore how analyzing primary and secondary sources can deepen content understanding while helping students develop clear, evidence-based written arguments. Teachers will leave with practical strategies to engage learners in critical thinking through historical and contemporary documents. 


This workshop would be appropriate for both English and Social Studies teachers.


Hot breakfast buffet, lunch, & snacks will be provided. A block of rooms under WCTE has been secured at Wilderness Resort for those wishing to travel Thursday. Contact the Wilderness at (800) 867-9453.
