Convention

The Wisconsin Council of Teachers of English holds an annual convention each October. The event consists of a half-day workshop on Thursday afternoon and a full day of guest speakers and sectionals on Friday.

Mark your calendars for the 2019 WCTE Annual Convention Thursday, October 17th: Pre-convention Workshops with Greater Madison Writing Project Friday, October 18th: Full day convention with keynote speaker Allison Marchetti. In addition to the keynote address, registrants will also participate in a second, smaller group session with Allison Marchetti during one of four breakout sessions. Additional breakout sessions will be available on a number of topics relevant to the teaching of English Language Arts and leadership in the field.
